Fashion trends for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2012 include sequins, velvet, satin, and tweed. This season, the catwalks overflowed with rich texture and Butter London has translated this to nails through the infusion of glitter particles and metallic and holographic finishes. Butter London created the nail looks for Altuzarra, Kevork, Kaelen, Simone Rocha, JS Lee, Craig Lawrence, Matthew Williamson, Michael van der Ham, and Roland Mouret.

The lacquers are housed in a uni-design bottle and black cap with a heavy weighted glass bottle for a luxurious look. The future forward collection ($14 each) includes color tones that speak to “earthiness” but are not specifically earth tones:

Lovely Jubbly: A vibrant magenta flecked with red, blue and gold micro particles chennels a distinctly retro 70’s feel.

Trustafarian: A golden holographic finish gives this sage green a surprising and sophisticated edge.

Gobsmacked: A heavily pigmented charcoal grey glitters with a slightly textured finish.

Shag: A high-shine metallic lacquer in a warm orange-burgundy hue — reminiscent of fallen Autumn leaves.

Dodgy Barnett: A highly holographic shade that blurs the line between grey and silver.
